February 2014 Simi cooperated with African operators in mass production of mobile phones and successfully entered the African operator market.
2015 Simi started to visit the African market and set up a factory in Ethiopia.
2016 The smesei plant began operation, and the strategic cooperation with Ethiopia telecom.
2017 Simi esei achieved a strong second market share by the end of the year, the same year smi Uganda began operations.
2018 Simi began operations in Cameroon and joined the Cameroon higher education network in the same year.
2019 Smyugandan plant is up and running.
